Mr Harman's Gardening Club

Can you help?

A big thank you to everyone who has helped out or donated plants and equipment to our garden in the past.  After the great success of our school garden last year, the gardening club have been busy digging over and preparing the vegetable beds ready for planting.

The children will be sowing seeds over the next few weeks, but any offers of established plants or seedlings for this season would be really appreciated.  Plants that were particularly successful last year were :  sweet corn, runner beans, green beans, courgettes, cucumbers, pumpkins, onions and  tomatoes

In addition, if anyone is able to help out with any of the following, that would be fantastic :

  •  lavender and thyme plants for the flower beds
  •  raspberry canes
  •  gardening gloves (small sizes are best!)
  •  small forks and trowels
  • a water butt or plastic compost bins

We are hoping to open the garden area up for the Summer Fair (as we did last year).  In the meantime, please call into the school office if you think you may be able to help out in anyway, or you have any questions.
