On Thursdays afterschool 12 children from upper key stage 2 have been invited to participate in a gifted and talented physical education club. The sessions started in April and run through until the end of the academic year in July. The children have been selected based on either their performances representing the school in sports fixtures or within P.E lessons. All the children have shown ability to exceed the level expected of them either technically or tactically. Each session works on a different skill or sport and aims to provide an extension to learning within core physical education lessons, both practically and psychologically. Well done to all the children involved and keep up the hard work!
