ISR Range L11 – L15 (£49,481 to £54,503 p.a. pro rata)
Start date: September 2016
The ACE Multi Academy Trust Directors and Governors of St Columb Major ACE Academy are looking to appoint a committed and dynamic leader as Associate Headteacher at St Columb Major Academy. We require someone with a passion for working with staff, parents and governors to ensure our children continue to receive the best possible education.
This role will be for two days per week for a fixed term to work alongside the current Principal, who will be working 3 days per week.
The post is not class based and involves considerable curriculum and staff leadership and the candidate should be looking to build their career towards a full-time Associate Headteacher position in the future.
The successful candidate will have had previous experience in primary school leadership at a senior level and have considerable knowledge and practical experience of areas such as: performance management, assessment and data analysis, monitoring of teaching and learning through lesson observations, work scrutiny and pupil conferencing and leading staff training.
This academy is rated as an ‘Outstanding’ school (Ofsted 2012) and is an important part of the local community.
