Year 6 News

6th October 2015

Dear Parent and Guardians,

For those children not attending our Y6 Residential, we have organised an exciting trip to ‘Clip n Climb’ in Exeter.  This is to allow those children to have a similar experience that the rest of their class friends will be having in Bude.

The trip will take place on Wednesday 7thOctober and we are proposing to take the children to Exeter by train.  They will be accompanied by 6 adults and will be leaving school after registration.

The children will need to bring a packed lunch and a drink (no cans or bottles please).  As the children are climbing, we ask that they wear either tracksuit bottoms or leggings but still wear their school polo shirt and sweatshirt.  As we are travelling by train, please ensure your child has a coat with them.  We will be returning to school in time for the end of the day as normal.

If your child is eligible for Free School Meals and you would like the kitchen to prepare their packed lunch, please let us know.

We do not have a final costing for this visit yet but can assure you that the cost will be no more than £10 per child.

If you would like your child to attend this trip, please complete and return the slip.  If your child has any issue with heights or climbing, please indicate this on the slip.  Please could slips be returned by Monday 21st September.

Best wishes,

Mrs R McCracken
