Members of our Ethos committee travelled to St. Andrew’s Church in Aveton Gifford last Friday to take part in an Ethos day, ‘Reflecting on Easter’.
The children learned about the history of the Church and created some of their own stained glass windows. They also learned about why eggs, chicks and rabbits are popular chocolate treats at Easter! They read and analysed chapters from the Bible which Christians use to tell the story of Easter and had the opportunity to write their own Easter poem.
It was a really lovely day in a beautiful setting. The children had lots of fun and their behaviour was exemplary. They should be very proud of themselves!
