Years 5 & 6

Hello Unit 3!

Welcome to WEEK 8 of the second half of the summer term. As this is the last week of term, there are only 4 days of home learning as we officially break up for the Summer Holidays on Thursday 23rd July.

Year 6

For Year 6 pupils all of your home learning needs will be catered for through the

The First Federation Trust's Virtual School

The First Federation’s Home Learning Page has been created for children in Year 6 who are continuing their learning at home despite the phased reopening of schools for these year groups. A team of teachers from across the Trust have come together to create engaging Home Learning Projects and include tasks in reading, writing, maths, the wider curriculum as well as an outdoor learning challenge around a given theme  - this week is all about Moving On

The aim of the Learning Projects is to create a themed resource for parents and children that is easy to access, practical and engaging.

Please Visit: https://www.firstfederation.org/year-6/

For feedback to tasks or to ask any questions about the learning projects please email FFTYear6@firstfederation.org.uk – please ensure work is named and you child’s school is specified in the email.

We still request that you touch base with the school via SeeSaw, Email or phone at least once a week.

If you would still like house points and to be nominated for learner of the week you can still send work to Unit 3 teachers via SeeSaw. However, due to teaching full time they might not be able to respond as quickly as before and will not be giving feedback on learning. This is through the teaching school.

Year 5

Please find below your home learning for the week, there is a reading, writing, spelling and maths task for each day and special curriculum tasks focusing on transition into Year 6.

We also have an 'ALL ABOUT ME' summer project booklet that you can download and print for you to fill out now and throughout your summer.

(If you need a copy let your class teacher know over SeeSaw

and we will happily print you off a copy for you to collect from school!)

You can bring this into school in September for your new teacher to see.

We all hope you have a fantastic summer holiday and look forward to seeing you all in September!

Have a great week,

Mrs Bradley, Miss Miller, Miss Naylor and Mr Peters.
