The children enjoyed their afternoon learning all about first aid. They were taught:

  • What is First Aid?​
  • How to call for help and call 999​
  • How to know if someone is injured or not well​
  • How to recognise minor injuries e.g., cuts, grazes,  bumps to head​
  • How to open a First Aid box​ and the contents of the box
  • How to clean a wound and apply a plaster   ​
  • What medication is  ​
  • About first aid slips
