Spellings at Home

Children will be set spelling assignments to complete each week that are linked to the spelling rule or pattern that they are learning. There are a range of games that children can play which will help them to learn their spellings in a fun and engaging way.   Ideally, children should spend a short time every day accessing the games and activities available on the Spelling Shed. 

In addition to weekly set spellings, the more they use the program to revise previously learned spelling patterns, the more confident they will feel in continuing to use these words in their everyday writing.
