Update October 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

As part of our ongoing focus on keeping all children safe and maintaining consistency across the school, we are taking some time this week to reinforce our expectations around jewellery and accessories.

Please be advised if children come to school wearing hooped earrings, necklaces, or bracelets, these will be removed and placed in a named envelope to be returned at the end of the school day. 

This is first and foremost a safety measure. Jewellery can easily get caught during play, PE, or other practical activities, which could lead to avoidable accidents. It also helps us ensure that everyone follows the same expectations — when one child wears jewellery, their friends often want to do the same, which makes it much harder to maintain consistency and fairness across the school.

We’d really appreciate your support in reminding your child to leave jewellery and accessories at home each day. This small step helps us keep everyone safe, focused, and ready for learning.
