At Gatehouse Primary Academy we communicate and share information with you, our parent community using the School Gateway app. We want you to feel as much a part of your children’s education as possible and with the increased use of smart phone technology we want to make best use of it.
School Gateway is the free app for parents and carers that gives you a multitude of communication and information features to stay in touch with what is going on at school.
We are able to send you messages directly from the School Gateway app relating to important information about your child's education and to remind you of events that are taking place at school. You will receive a notification if we send you a message. Parents are also able to contact us via the app. and there is no charge for the messages you send this way.
The School Gateway app allows us as a school to send all consent forms etc. electronically. Parents are then able to fill in the forms online and submit them directly back to us. This not only saves you as a parent time, but it also helps to cut down on our paper costs.

Seesaw is a communication tool used between teachers and families. If you have any class/teaching related queries, please use Seesaw to speak to your child’s teacher. For any other queries or messages, please contact the school office.
